Gibson Library There are few individual maps of Essex or other counties in the Town Library; most of the county maps held are within Atlases or Gazetteers. The maps that are held fall into three groups:
| Return to the Catalogue page. | In the Shelving column, "Roll" means item is in the Rolling stacks in the Gibson Room of the Town Library, with row number, stack column letter and shelf number. You will need to ask a member of staff to bring items from the Gibson Room. |
All the maps below (except Nockold's Wendens Ambo map) are held in the Reading Room, in a set of large map folders located on the floor at the right hand end of the windows.
