Gibson Library Book of the Month: The Imagined Village: Culture, Ideology and the English Folk Revival by Georgina Boyes

With the Thaxted Festival coming up in June and July, we thought it fitting that this would be our book of the month. The works is a “comprehensive examination of the English Folk Revival” which deals with issues of Englishness, class, and creativity.

This book can be borrowed by members of Essex Libraries, or accessed by the public within the library.
