March Book of the Month

Gibson Library’s Book of the Month for March – Suffrage Days by Sandra Stanley Holton

March is Women’s History Month, first introduced to address the long-standing omission of women’s contributions from traditional historical narratives.

This book by Sandra Stanley Holton uncovers a Radical-Liberal current in the 19th century movement. The book is an account of the British suffrage movement from its inception until its victory in 1918.
